Paul Scarlett is a Managing Director in an Architectural Practice, Brown and Scarlett Architects in Bury St Edmunds. The Company covers a full range of Architectural works with emphasis on Heritage Property renovations to bespoke residential Housing Schemes. He trained at the Oxford School of Architecture for his Degree & Post Graduate Diploma (now Oxford Brooks). His early work experience was in the commercial sector in London and he later moved to Bury St Edmunds and joined an already established practice working on a variety of projects.
Over the last 30 years the practice has further developed its expertise in dealing with Historic Building environment working on a number of Grade I and Grade II Star Buildings in close consultation with the Local Authority and Conservation Officers. At the same time the residential work has expanded to include Award winning housing projects. The practice has always sought to achieve bespoke solution which reflect the local sense of place often producing a scheme that compliments the local vernacular but with a temporary twist to it.
