Funders

In 2016 Smiths Row is delighted to be working with the following funders:

The Cabinet Office's Local Sustainabililty Fund delivered by Big Lottery Fund

This fund is supporting us to research and develop a new operating model and through that to help us expand our work in the long term with vulnerable and disadvantaged people living along the Ipswich to Cambridge rail corridor.

Arts Council England

Lottery funding through Grants for the Arts is enabling us to research and develop our plans for a network of artists' studios along the rail line.  This follows mounting evidence of the devastating impact of regeneration in London and Cambridge on workspace for artists.

The Architectural Heritage Fund

This supports work to plan and implement the restoration of the Station Master's House in Bury St Edmunds.

In-kind Funders:

Transport Regeneration: experts in sustainabilty and community engagement in rail and bus travel.

The Guildhall Project who are developing An major new visitor attraction in an important historic building in Bury St Edmunds.

Ashton KCJ solicitors based over East Anglia support Smiths Row by offering discounted legal services as well as sponsoring Smiths Row Open.

Waterstones, Bury St Edmunds offer 10% discount to all Smiths Row Supporters for both shops in the town.
